16.5 pts Jancis Robinson – Full-bodied and fruity, intense ruby color. Aromas of red fruits and black fruits dominate the nose. On the palate, the wine is balanced, intensely fruity, dominated by notes of wild berries and spices, especially pepper.
Dow `s Finest goes very well, all kinds of hard cheeses, as well as chocolate desserts. When it is bottled it has completed the aging process and is ready to drink and no decanting is required.
