Intense ruby color. It has an aroma of red fruits and traces of ripe fruit. In the mouth it is smooth and rounded, with balanced acidity and a persistent finish.
A wine with typical Alentejo characteristics, Fonte Seca is produced from previously selected grapes, submitted to a thermal shock in a cold room before being de-stemmed. Fermentation takes place separately, by variety, at controlled temperatures. 30% of the batch was aged in oak casks for a period of 4 months. Afterwards, the wine is bottled without undergoing any filtration in order to maintain the quality of the product. It is a wine with great potential for evolution in the bottle.
