The grapes used in the production of Dow’s Fine Ruby come from different Portuguese varieties from the Douro Valley, such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz and Tinto Cão. Dow’s Fine Ruby was aged in oak casks in our cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia for approximately 3 years, having been bottled ready to drink. Exuberant flavors of young fruits make it perfect for drinking on informal occasions.
