João Portugal Ramos produces sensational wines, in his Douro project he produces ingenious, drinkable wines with a very good price-performance ratio. Tons de Duorum Douro Tinto DOC has a strong aroma of raspberries, strawberries, blackberries and plums. Spicy and nutty aromas from aging in wood are also clearly recognizable. In the mouth, its very well balanced acidity and the ripe and round tannins make it an elegant wine.
After being harvested by hand, the grapes were destemmed and slightly crushed. The wine matured and aged in French oak barrels for another 6 months.
Varieties: Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional.
