This is Dão at its best. Its a powerful wine, embedded in the hard granite of the region with its dark, brooding tannins and solid structure, with a touch of chocolate in the background. Dominated by Touriga Nacional, juicy but very firm, it wears its long wood aging easily. The wine is already integrated, but should be aged for several years.
Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Roriz and Jaen.
Ageing in French and American oak caskes.
