The wine reveals an astonishing violet colour and very complex aromas of plums, red and black fruit perfectly integrated with nuances of vanilla and floral notes. On the palate, it shows its huge dimension of red and black berry flavours, which combine splendidly with its round tannins, offering an everlasting and pleasant finish.
Following the gently sloping contours of the Douro River, Aciprestes has been completely replanted with the noblest varieties of the region.
The optimal microclimate of some 90 hectares of vineyard between Cima Corgo and Alto Douro offers ideal conditions for perfect ripening of the grapes.
The Reserva wine is produced from Touriga Nacional, predominant variety, and Touriga Franca, in a minor share, planted in the 15, 16, 17, 18 parcels of the Quinta.
