Licor Beirão is a typical Portuguese liqueur, particularly from the Beira region. Its production began in the 19th century, in the town of Lousã, based on several plants - including mint, cinnamon, rosemary, lavender and cardamom - and aromatic seeds, submitted to a double distillation process.
