Tasting Notes
Wine produced in the Douro region using 40% Vol Tinta Roriz, 35% Vol Touriga Franca, 20% Vol Tinta Barroca and 5% Vol mix of old vines. Aged for 9 months in French oak. It presents a very young purple color. Ripe fruit nose, enhanced by fresh cherry and berry flavors and a very discreet French oak nuance. In the mouth this wine shows a long structure with extremely soft tannins. It impresses with its freshness and ability to be drunk right away. The long finish reflects the intensity of the fruit. It is ready to drink, but shows good aging potential.
