Touriga Nacional has long been recognised as the premiun grape variety in the douro valley for making high quality wines.
Following 18 months ageing in french oak barrels, it shows a toasty, smoky bouquet with intense spicy fruit characters.
The palate is long, focused and very elegant, with ripe concentrated fruit, well- integrated oak, good balance and finely structured tannins.
Quinta do Crasto 2011 Touriga Nacional was bottled unfiltered in June 2013 and will repay long term cellaring.
